WHO WE ARE…

Launched in march 2019 by His Excellency the President, the End Malaria Council is composed of senior leaders drawn from government, the private sector, and civil society. We meet quarterly to receive updates from the National Malaria Elimination Centre on the status of malaria and the challenges it faces. We then engage our respective sectors and constituencies to mobilise commitments for advocacy, action, and resources to solve these challenges.

The End Malaria Council & Fund is a Public-Private-Community Partnership established in 2019 to help achieve a malaria-free Zambia. We are senior leaders representing all sectors and have each pledged that “Malaria Ends with Me!” We work collaboratively to remove barriers to ending malaria and mobilise action and resources so that the National Malaria Elimination Strategy can be successfully implemented.
