On 9th August 2024, the EMC paid a courtesy call to newly appointed Minister of Health, Hon. Dr Elijah Muchima, MP. Honourable Minister expressed gratitude for the work by the board, pursuing Advocacy, Resource mobilisation and Action. Dr Godwin Beene, Chair of the Council, who led the team assured the Minister of more commitment by members, towards the malaria fight. In the same way, the Minister pledged offer support to the council, and he will also be available for all major events for the EMC.
